The Cueva de los Franceses (Cave of the French) is the offspring of the action of the water, which has drawn a very detailed sculpture work throughout the centuries.
It is situated between Covalagua and the Páramo de la Lora High Moor. Many French soldiers were buried here during the Independence War.
Inside the cave a beautiful scenery of stalactite formations can be admired along 500 metres of visiting area.

Perapertú and de Valley of Mudá(San Cebrián de Mudá)
| It is a Valley full of small villages and corners with an essence of the past, old characters and small churches, which do not appear in books or guides and have nevertheless a single artistic and historical value. |
| Cervera de Pisuerga together with Guardo and Aguilar form the de three tops of Montaña Palentina’s region. They are the three most populated villages and they structure all the territory in three functional areas, where most of the services, industry and trade are concentrated. |
| In spite of being in Cantabria, Reinosa is a small town full of traditional flavour, from its pastry, its sunny large houses to its mountain architecture and its surroundings, where the Tres Mares peak, its ski resort and its EROTIC Romanesque art stand out. |
It is an archaeological site found in 1968. The Roman Village of La Olmeda preserves its medieval square almost intact and its mosaics, with an area of 1400m2, are considered to be
the second best in the world. |
It is a beautiful setting because of its rivers and reservoirs and also because of its mountain peaks.

Guardo and Velilla del Rio Carrión are at the foot of Montaña Palentina most important summits. |
In the Páramo de la Lora High Moor a fantastic geological scenery of karst origins has been created. Dolines, limestone pavements, uvalas, chasms, caves and emergences are among its most important signs. Covalagua is one of these emergences and it gives name to all the Natural Area. |
Berzosilla, Lastrilla and Cezura, a big part of Montaña Palentina and the Páramo de la Lora High Moor are some of the enclaves which can be observed from this viewpoint. |
It is a kind of planetarium with telescope and bathyscaph. This viewpoint was built on some old facilities used to keep coal. An exclusive and mythic building at a height of 1.100 metres. |
It is located at the “La Dehesa” hill. It is a very original way of visiting the natural setting. |
